He had his training and experience within the Oncoplastic Unit at the Princess Royal University Hospital. Mr Kasem spent 18 months as part-time secondment with the oncoplastic breast surgery team at the Royal Marsden Hospital. He joined South-East London Breast Cancer Screening at the King’s College University Hospital and the oncoplastic surgery team at St Thomas’ Hospital to perform the breast oncology procedures for breast cancer patients. Mr Kasem has been to many international breast cancer surgery and cosmetic breast surgery centres participating in breast cancer surgery, breast reconstruction and aesthetic cosmetic breast surgery master-classes and workshops. This has helped in mastering and refining his breast cancer surgery, breast reconstruction, aesthetic cosmetic breast surgery and oncoplastic breast skills. The surgical experience and training at these top different breast surgery centres have given Mr Kasem the golden opportunity to gain high expertise and skills in breast cancer surgery, breast reconstruction and aesthetic cosmetic breast surgery. His breast oncoplastic and cosmetic breast skills include primary breast cancer surgery, breast reconstruction surgery, breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast mastopexy (uplift), breast lipomodelling and lipofilling with fat grafting, immediate and delayed breast reconstruction and nipple reconstruction. Mr Kasem has been to the European Institute of Oncology in Milan and many international breast surgery centres to expand his skills of oncoplastic breast surgery. Mr Kasem is on the specialist GMC register as an accredited consultant surgeon. Mr Kasem is one of the first certified cosmetic surgeons by the Royal College of Surgeons of England in the United Kingdom.
Mr Kasem is an experienced oncoplastic breast surgeon with a specialist expertise in one stop rapid assessment for breast lumps, different breast symptoms, breast screening, family history risk assessment and state of art management for both benign breast disease and breast cancer. Mr Kasem works within a dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide the best holistic personal care. Mr Kasem is working as a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon with a special interest in breast cancer surgery, breast reconstruction surgery and breast aesthetic surgery. He is an Oncoplasti Breast Consultant Surgeon at King’s College Hospital NHS Trust.
